What do you think of the fact that Dead Poetic's music will no longer include screaming?

I like It.
I don't really like it, but I'll still buy their cd.
It makes me sick.

As time moves on, things change. This is certainly true with Dead Poetic.

As of Monday, April 11th, Chad is no longer a member of Dead Poetic. After several events throughout the past year, we all came to the impending realization that we have all grown into different people. With that, we also realized that we had grown into people that we felt could not continue to be in a band together. No one is at fault, life just continues, and we all go through different things. None of us are happy with this outcome, but we all agree that it seems to be the only way for the band to continue.

Chad was a founding member of this band in 1997. We thank and respect Chad for all that he has given this band, and all of the hard work that he has exuded over these past 8 years. We sincerely wish Chad the best in his future endeavors.

Tell Myself Goodbye...

[ mood | busy ]

Hey guys, I've been on a rampage lately when it comes to joining communities related to my favorite bands, and it just so happens that Dead Poetic is one of those bands, hehe. I discovered them through a friend almost a year ago, when he told me to download "The Dream Club Murders." Needless to say, I liked it, and I eventually bought the "New Medicines" cd. I love it, hehe.

Anyways, glad to be a member.

Peace :)

Todd where are you [23 Feb 2005|10:26pm]

I was sad to hear of Todd's departure from the band. It seems that he is the only one in the band that knew how to keep it real.... The sweet tones that he could unleash are definitly some of my favorites.

Hey guys. I'm Evan, and I had no idea there was a DP community on here. I live in Columbus, Ohio (yes, the one city in Ohio they never stop at, forcing me to drive ridiculous amounts of hours to see them) and I'm a moderator of their boards. I actually see a few people from the boards on here, which is refreshing. The boys are getting bigger every second, it's pretty exciting. I think I was introduced to them when Four Wall was released, and I've been a fan ever since.

I think that about sums it up.
